Biography

Luis Tinoco (b. 1969, Lisbon) made his First Degree in composition at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. He was then awarded with scholarships by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Centro Nacional de Cultura to complete a Masters degree in Composition at the Royal Academy of Music, in London. Presently, he's doing a PhD Music research at the University of York, with Prof. Nicola LeFanu.

"Fantastic Tales" return to Spain Print

Following the first performances in Spain, in September 2009 in Badajoz, Merida and Plasencia, the Orquesta de Extremadura conducted by Jesús Amigo will once again perform Fantastic Tales at the Palacio de Congresos de Badajoz Manuel Rojas, on the 4th of March | 8.30 p.m.
The Spanish actor José Vicente Moirón will be the speaker.

Three days later, on the 7th of March | 12.00 a.m., at the Auditorio y Centro de Congresos Víctor Villegas in Murcia, Vicente Moirón will again read Terry Jones' stories joined by the Orquesta Sinfónica de La Región de Murcia performing Luís Tinoco's score under the baton of maestro José Miguel Rodilla.
